Bio: 
I am a University Student in California but have lived between the United States and Europe over the course of my life. Last summer I worked for the worlds largest semiconductor foundry, GLOBALFOUNDRIES (located in Dresden, Germany) in Communications, Government Relations, and Internal/External relations. My responsibilities included interfacing with multinational government backed educational enrichment programs, assisting in government relations, interfaced with local communications staff to provide proofing and editing for English language material, developed and wrote features for internal communication in a publication sent to 13,000 employees worldwide,and prepared GLOBALFOUNDRIES training materials. I travel abroad often and am compelled to volunteer abroad in whatever way I can. I am most interested in Humanitarian crisis and working with people.
Volunteering Experience: 
I am currently involved with the local Homeless Services Center in my college town of Santa Cruz, California. Previous volunteer experience includes working with abused women and their children in a safe haven called The House of Grace (San Jose, California) and working as a volunteer for the Special Olympics (Upstate New York)
