Bio:
I am a multipassionate world traveler. I got my start traveling in 2007 when I volunteered in Tanzania. Since that first experience, I have gone on to work and travel on 6 continents, always turning to volunteering as a way to travel meaningfully. I think that staying put for a while and getting to know a new community is the best way to travel, build meaningful relationships, increase by own adaptability and perspective, and so much more. In college I studied Technology for Development and Social Entrepreneurship because of my passion for creating practical solutions to poverty and help people empower themselves through access to information via the internet. I have since been involved with several international initiatives in East Africa. I have traveled back to Tanzania three times since 2007 because of the strong relationships I have formed there, and the way that the region has touched my life. I love to teach and learn from other communities, and I especially love being a part of a community. I believe connection is the meaning of life, and so that is what I pursue, in all shapes and forms.
