Bio: 
I am a graduate of Nantucket High School (2015). I am a first year undergraduate in Simmons College in Boston, Massachusetts.Currently, I am majoring in Biology and anticipated minor in Psychology in the pre-medical track as I wish to become a doctor. I respect the responsibility and the impact this profession holds. I have practiced my leadership and teamwork skills as a captain of the Nantucket cheerleading team (2011-2014), as a president of National Honors Society where I got to organize fundraising events. These positions and responsibilities have enhanced my confidence as well as made me appreciate and communicate with people of all parts of life.
Volunteering Experience: 
In Boston, I have joined the Brigham Women's Hospital Medical Career Exploration Program, which is a one-year long program of about 140 hours of volunteering at different departments of the hospital such as patient assistance. I have volunteered as an Academic Mentor where I help children with their homework and interact with them so they enjoy the learning process. I have also been a member of Perfect Pals which is a organization that connects children with autism with a student who is older than them. Through it, we organized various events such as Halloween night, Christmas Craft. This organization gives an opportunity got the kids with autisms to do and go to places that they don't usually get to.
