Bio:
Hello! My name is Arianna Weiner and I can best be described as curious, energetic, determined, and a leader. I grew up in rural Minnesota, the oldest of five kids, and was highly involved in athletics (swimming, cheerleading, dance, and softball) and school (National Honor Society, Student Government, and a foreign exchange student to Germany). In college, I was involved in NROTC (Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps), Drill Teams, Color Guard, Biology Honor Society, Chemistry Club, Student Government, and VISION (Volunteers in Action Internationally or Nationally). Upon graduation, I was commissioned at an Officer in the United States Navy and moved to Yokosuka, Japan, where in was an Officer aboard a Destroyer class surface ship. My military career then took me across America from Charleston, South Carolina to Saratoga Springs, New York, and finally to Bremerton, Washington where I was a Nuclear Engineering Officer onboad a nuclear-powered aircraft carrier. I followed-up my Naval Career with Medical Device Sales. I am now at a point in my life where I want to make a contribution to a cause that is greater than myself. My hobbies include hunting, fishing, reading, and participating in athletics. I also love the music of the 1980's.
Volunteering Experience:
Church, delivering meals to individuals living with HIV or AIDS, VISION (Volunteering in Service Internationally or Nationally), and various Naval Volunteering (orphanage painting, playing with children, community clean-ups, and organizing fundraising).
