Bio: 
I am a graduate aged 28 who holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Development Studies for Midlands State University. I have excellent leadership skills, communication and analytical skills. I have experience researching and determining the needs and issues of the community, then finding sound and durable solutions to these problems. I have great love for the youth and want to see fellow young people rise above their surroundings by assisting them to achieve their goals.I am a reliable, innovative, hardworking and systematic individual who is able to work under pressure with little or no supervision at all. The basic focus of my degree is on rural development, urban planning, monitoring and evaluation controlling, improving projects. As a development practitioner I can assist in various research areas as a resource person. Some of the areas are labour issues, gender issues, HIV/AIDS, children and development, human rights, peace and security.
Volunteering Experience: 
I once volunteered in Youth network for alternative development (Youth NAD) in Chiredzi i in Zimbabwe and had specific roles of: - Facilitation of peer groups clubs formation in Chiredzi urban High schools - Encourage participation of girls in the clubs. - Recruiting and training of both the teachers and the peer educators in the schools - Engage youth volunteers for appropriate program activities. - Communication within and outside the organisation liaising with interested groups and other organisations to set up new services. - Resource person in research area in building links with other organisations. - Developing new resources in dialogue with the youth and evaluation existing programmes. - Preparation of reports on weekly situational reports of programmes implemented. - Monthly progressive reports and assist in bi-annual projects reports. - Mediating in matters of conflict within the organisation. - Communication with clients and other stakeholders to gain community and youth support for program and to solicit input to improve the programme. - Liaise with programme manager to ensure the effective and efficient programme delivery. - Ensure that person files for the organisation program are properly maintained and kept confidential.
