I'm a 27 years old male of Indian origin. Born and brought up in Delhi (capital state of India), I'm almost 6 feet tall with average (neither very fair nor very dark, i.e. brownish) complexion. I have a slim body and weigh 70 kgs. approx.
Volunteering Experience: 
I have worked with AIESEC which is an international organization that helps you discover and develop your potential in order to have a positive impact on society. AIESEC facilitates international exchange programs and is present in over 120 countries and territories, 2400 universities and currently has a member base of close to 70,000 members. It is a youth-driven organization that offers leadership and project-based experiences to undergraduate students and young professionals from different walks of life, who are seeking a truly global, life-changing and meaningful experience that will contribute to their personal development, as well as help in making them more responsible citizens of the world. I was part of the New Delhi chapter of AIESEC, based out of Delhi University and was leading the outgoing exchange portfolio for the chapter. During my term as Vice President at the local chapter, I led a team of close to 15 members, who facilitated international internships for close to 30 young students and professionals that were sent abroad through the organization, for such life-changing, leadership experiences of various kinds, for e.g., management, educational, developmental or technical, and in various countries such as Japan, China, Russia, Nigeria, Kenya, Turkey, Poland, Austria, Hungary, Germany etc. I have also worked briefly with GiveIndia as part of the credibility assurance team (CAT), in the capacity of a volunteer, wherein I visited villages and met the end beneficiaries, to know if they were receiving the kind of support they were promised by local NGOs, that used GiveIndia platform to raise money to meet their objectives. I have also served as a volunteer to help organize and manage Voluntary Action Network India (VANI's) 2-day conference on the "Changing Landscape of Volunteering in India" in the year 2009 at Delhi.
