Bio:
I am a nursing student, currently heading into my second year of a two-year BSN program. I am fulfilled most by working with people, and am currently working as a Certified Nursing Assistant at a large hospital in Denver as well as providing child care services to individual families. Prior to nursing school, I received my BS in Psychology and worked in a mental health counseling center. I have training in medical interventions such as taking vital signs, physical assessment, medication administration, intravenous line placement, Basic Life Support/CPR, and Wilderness First Aid. I also have training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Enhancement Therapy. I love to be outside in my free time enjoying the mountains of Colorado.
Volunteering Experience:
I began volunteering with my family when I was growing up at a local soup kitchen. I have done numerous community service projects since, including working at food banks, shelters, and farmer's market and orchard gleaning programs, and vaccination events. I am looking forward to expanding my volunteer experience into the medical realm.

BS in Psychology from Davidson College in 2012; BSN at University of Colorado, graduating 2017
