Bio:
I am a first year university student, studying English at Kristianstad University in Sweden. I have graduated on June 2015 from the International High School In the Gothenburg Region. During high school years I have done some researches about different cultures and societies which that opened my eyes to a new word where I could see all aspects of life are different. The facts were solid enough to make me realise that a decent life of a human being never happened to be existed in the life of hundred millions of people. That dramatically affected the way I think about myself relating to the world and other people. First it affected my behaviour, I tend to become more listener, less judgmental, more likely to smile to strangers, and most importantly able to distinguish between the good and the bad side in every human, society and culture. I am a social person who is always willing to help others without expecting any reward in return. Travelling and meeting new cultures are my pleasure. My daily hobby is reading the news as that came from my interest in politics; other interests are Psychology and Philosophy. Finally, I have an experience working with children where I worked for local NGOs that arrange activities for kids (12-15), activities including days of games, basic courses in film-making, trips and camps.
Volunteering Experience:
On December 2015, I started with two other partners a project meant to create a chance for the new young arrivals (refugees) to talk to the Swedish society directly through short movies where they tell a story about themselves, how they see Sweden, and what questions they have or things they like\dislike about their new life. A week of activities was included in the project with other Swedish citizens participants. I was responsible of these activities. We were working on the project as volunteers. I volunteered, not officially, with the Red Cross in their campaign of welcoming the refugees on Gothenburg centre station. We were to serve the arrivals food, clothes if needed and whatever else they need of help. I am a permanent volunteer at local organisation, Tidningsnätverket i Bergsjön. I work their as a youth leader when there are activities or on certain projects.
