Bio:
Hi, I'm Abhishek. I am a 21 year old student studying Management in The United States of America (The Pennsylvania State University.) . I've been wanting to make a positive difference in the world ever since I can remember. I see a lot of potential for change in this world and helping the people who are in need of such a change is something I really want to do. I have traveled some parts of the world, sometimes doing so on my own and there are places which when you visit, make you realize that the people there have a mountain to climb in terms of adapting to the conditions they have been put into. I originally come from India. I spent some time in England, before moving to the United States. And this journey has across three continents has been eye-opening. My hobbies include reading, traveling, playing football and learning languages. I would be interested in helping out in any capacity if need be. You can reach me on my e-mail, which I make a habit of checking regularly. Abhishek Todmal
Volunteering Experience:
I have volunteered in the past but that was just for a very brief period of time. This included going to old age homes and schools for blind children. I usually took some food and some clothes for the children. The delight you see on their faces upon receiving it is priceless. But I have not had any experience yet of volunteering abroad. I want to make a difference, like I previously mentioned. There are various ways of doing so. For example, I think about the skills I currently have and how I can use them to help others. I could be a educator to children regarding environmental consciousness and conservation efforts. The ability to speak and inform is a very powerful one and something that I would be interested in. But I would not limit myself to one area, I could also be a spokesperson for certain causes, encouraging people to take a certain stance. I am also open to getting my hands dirty i.e. doing physical work such as constructing small huts for people to live in or any sort of small establishment. I also want to interact with children and inform them of the opportunities they do have at their disposal and the problems they are facing as a community. So I'm really open to helping out in any way I can.
