Bio: 
I studied Surveying and Mapping Science at Newcastle University graduating in 2006 and have worked in data and project management fields for 9 years. I am a specialist in GIS analysis and marine industries with a particular focus on renewable energy. My job roles have been: - working in the North Sea oil and gas sector as a hydrographic surveyor completing subsea positioning of objects and pipeline surveys; - I was then a project manager for flood defense projects at the Environment Agency in the North East of England area; - Following that position I worked as a evidence specialist for the Marine Management Organisation authoring the renewable energy planning policy for the UKs first marine plans. - From there I joined The Crown Estate firstly as a policy and planning analyst and then joining a business optimisation team looking for new business opportunities and managing development of resource. From 2010 I have been completing a part time MSc in Renewable Energy Enterprise and Management completing my masters project into the feasibility of small scale solar PV in Northern Peru.
Volunteering Experience: 
I worked with Ecoswell in Peru to complete a small scale solar feasibility study which formed my MSc dissertation.
