I started traveling abroad in 2004, twice to Ethiopia, where my first trip was a pilgrimmage, return with a friend giving out clothing and other toiletries that are very expensive in their country. My third trip was to Ghana on a medical mission trip, where we served way over 3,000 people.this was a very interesting trip but vary hard going to bed sometimes at 1am and being up ready to travel by 6am and traveling for many hours from one village to another. My next trip was to Kenya where I have gone at least 3x. I must admit I really enjoyed being with the Maasai people they are very friendly, and there is such a need there but they need help in coordinating the work to be done. I would like to thank Brian for the information that he has given me on South Africa, I like to go knowing that I have impact the lives of the people that I am serving even if its in a small way. thank you Alliance Volunteer.
