Semonkong, Lesotho - One little girl had no shoes - her feet were cracked and hard - she took a liking to me, and I was asked by the team leader to help wash and medicate her feet. We gave her clothes and new shoes. She clung to me for dear life, and eventually started smiling. She slowly came out of her shell and started playing with the other kids. The following year when we visited the village again, she was much healthier and seemed a lot happier. Her name was Matapello.
