Organization Review

Overall Experience:
I volunteer for Prime Care Network (PCN) on the street kids and orphanage projects in Ghana for 2 months.I received a warm welcome at the airport on my arrival in Accra airport. The PCN 2 representatives were great and I enjoyed every bit of exchanges and jokes for the first time in Africa.I love the kids and the local teachers and other international volunteers I met around. The village home-stay was an excellent one as I always wish to volunteer in a village in Africa. The cultural tour and the eco-tour programmes organized for the volunteers was amazing and doing a lot of walking through the traditional areas, historical sights, butterfly farm yard at hoe etc. My time with the kids was nice and my experience for taking this opportunity to travel to volunteer in Ghana has really given me some more to it as expected after my volunteering. I received advised about health issues, money spending, what to bring, food etc. Many friends of mine home would also love to travel to volunteer for the PCN after I came back home to tell them about the country and the projects. I recommend the PCN volunteer organisation for potential volunteers to consider volunteering in Ghana.Ghana is a beautiful country and colorful cultures, friendly people and many more. Thanks Lizy
