Bio:
I graduated form high school in 2015 and decided to take a gap year to go on a Rotary Youth Exchange for one year to Peru. I had such an amazing time learning Spanish, volunteering, and meeting new people that I changed my major from nursing to English and Global Studies. I am very interested in helping people internationally and some day I would love to work for UNICEF. I love to meet knew people and learn new cultures and languages. Helping people less fortunate is important and everyone should have a global mindset.
Volunteering Experience:
Helped clean up a children's home. In Peru: helped do chores and play with children in an orphanage. Raised money to build three clean water towers for poor villages along the amazon river in the rain forest. Helped to build one of those water towers in the jungle.
