I graduated in 2015, with a first class honours degree in International Business management. During my time i picked up many skills including, communication, working well individually and within a team, using my own initiative and gained an excellent understanding of Microsoft tools. After graduating, a gained an internship at a marketing firm, where I learned about promoting a business through different techniques, including the role and benefits of social media. I am very passionate about volunteering, and giving back to the community - particularly women' issues.
I spend a week in Surin, Thailand, volunteering with Mr.Lee (A Local Mahout), in his elephant sanctuary. Here I feed, bathed and help plant food for the 5 elephants. I spend a week in Sangklaburi, Thailand, building a concrete guards base for a rural jungle tribe - as the village was facing threats from other tribes coming in from the burmese border. During my time at university, I did a placement year at GE Oil & Gas. Here, I volunteered with the initiative GE Girls get set - which encourages young girls form secondary schools to get into science and education. During the weekends I spend my Saturday morning volunteering at a local clothes charity shop as a visual merchandiser. This shop specialises in 'fashion' so I always ensued the shop was displayed appropriate to seasonal trends and would dress the mannequins accordingly.
