Organization Description
Information Technology Trainers’ Alliance (ITTA) launched out in 2013 to make a difference in the ICT world and education. It is a team of teachers, Computer experts in all IT fields who came together to form a network to help other IT users-teachers, institutions, and organizations who have any IT challenge and it needs a professional solution. ITTA is incorporated in Uganda (No. 204431) and it is a recognized entity by the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Sports in its bid to improve the quality of education and effectiveness of service delivery.
Information Technology Trainers’ Alliance (ITTA) is engaged in a wide range of ICT Capacity building activities across Uganda. Our services include; Computer Training, Workshops, Software Installation, Networking & Servicing, School Report and Library Systems, Web designing & hosting, you name them.
We have started a school- Goshen Christian High School Kalisizo in Southern Uganda. Our commitment is the provision of affordable quality academic education supplemented with practical skills like: tailoring, weaving, creative arts, among others which are relevant in the real world. We look forward to volunteers who can come and share their skills and impact our people.

Vision
Enriching peoples’ lives with IT options for self sustenance. ITTA envisions developing high-tech individuals with IT and job skills for an economically self-sustaining future.

Mission
Developing a passion for IT skills in society/schools with the purpose of embracing technology as a part of our day to day life.

ITTA provides quality services that enhance academic performance of Uganda’s diverse students.
Develop effective ICT educators; Catalyze change in schools while sharing successful IT practices with other forward-thinking educators.

Goals:
• Provide institutions with appropriate ICT support for lifelong sustainability.
• Create community demand for ICT services, by educating and informing parents, students, and community leaders about the current IT trends.
• Develop a network for supporting ICT teachers through exchanging material and examining students.
• Meet people with IT passion and help them achieve their lifelong goals, career in any IT field.
• To assist the government in implementing policies and programmes for the development of the youth community.
• Train youths to achieve economic stability and meet the challenges in a constantly changing world.

Volunteering at ITTA was an incredible experience. People were very friendly and generous. I felt welcomed from the moment they collected me from the airport. There were lots of opportunities to meet local people, their customs and explore their school systems. I traveled to several schools and was always inspired by people's eagerness to learn, their openness and happiness. I was able to offer my knowledge and skills whilst at the same I welcomed challenges such as speaking in front of very large groups. Daniel and his family were great hosts and I felt safe and cared for at all times. I'm very grateful to them.
