EnviroParks is a registered non government organisation- registration number 066/304 NPO.


To obtain maximum community participation through various environmental projects and programmes to create a clean, green, healthy and safe environment thus uplifting the morale of our community and promoting moral regeneration towards the environment.


Build a sustainable community through viable environmental, related economic development projects and youth skills training programmes which will alleviate the high levels of unemployment and poverty in our communities.

The organisation consist of two tiers.

1. Environment

We record complaints for the cluster of Municipal Entities regarding environment and infrastructure service delivery, log it with the relevant entity and follow up on turnaround time.

City Power: Out of Order Street lights, broken or snapped overhead cables, stolen cables, assist residents with claims where electrical appliances was damaged because of power outages and cleaning of power houses.

Johannesburg Water: Leaking water meters, leaking stop corks, burst water pipes and overflowing sewer manholes.

Johannesburg Roads: Potholes, street markings, broken kerb inlets, missing/stolen manhole covers and installation of speed humps.

City Parks: Grass cutting, tree pruning, weeding, disease and pest control.

The environment of the community has deteriorated tremendously because of the illegal dumping and projects have earmarked to reduce this scourge.
Projects to employ unskilled unemployed youth and the mobilization of the community together with the Ward Councillor to tighten legislation has been earmarked.

2. Youth Development Centre

Life Skills precedes skills development training and include:
Interviewing Skills
Time Management
Personal Development
National Credit Act
Consumer Protection Act
Career Guidance

Skills Development - Job preparation
- Acredited MICT Seta (NQF Level 3) End user computing 130 credits
We offer accredited beginners training – 39 credits
- Call Centre
- Beauty Salon - Manicure and Pedicure

The beneficiaries of the September – December skills training course graduated on the 11th December and 65 competence certificates was issued at the ceremony. So far 29 of these beneficiaries have been successfully placed in jobs at various companies. Pictures of the graduation ceremony has been attached.

Typing CV’s and forwarding it to prospective employers.

Internet Café which is also utilized by learners to do research on school projects for free.

The organisation is compliant and registered with South African Revenue Services (SARS) for:

EnviroParks is registered with the South African Revenue Services as a Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) and hold a section 18a PBO certificate.

Please note: The benefit of the section 18a PBO certificate is for companies or individuals to claim a full tax rebate from SARS for any funding, sponsorship and or service rendered to EnviroParks.

The organisation have seven full time identified posts at present and a very active board of directors consisting of seven members.
